Curaçao: Caribbean, beaches!

What's a better way to spend your summer holiday than to take a dip in the Carribean Sea? Luckily we got a very good deal from KLM during its Werelddeal Weken. And since Liam was still under 2 y.o. (thus free flight tickets), we decided to go to a further destination. Our pick went to Curaçao as we have many friends who have been here and strongly recommended it. It's also an ideal holiday destination for families with young kids.
We stayed for 8D7N at Frangipani Villa at Willibrordus. The villa is perched on a clifftop and just a 5-minute drive from the beautiful Daaibooi Beach. There are also several bars and restaurants within a 5-minute drive.
We spent only a day at Willemstad and spent the rest of our holiday hopping from one beautiful beach to another. The western part of the island is famous for its stunning beaches with azure-blue sea and white sands. So to the west we went!
Oh and the food here is to die for!! Our favorite restaurant in the villa's neighborhood was Karakter. But you MUST visit Komedor Krioyo Restaurant at Landhuis Dokterstuin and try its fried red snapper and beef stew! You know the food can't go wrong when you enter a restaurant jam-packed with locals.
